Tyler Slater, born and raised in Alma, Michigan, has had a wrench in his hands since before he could walk. Growing up, he spent many hours alongside his father in the garage doing everything from basic repairs, to personalized customizations. After high school, he attended Lincoln Technical College's Automotive Technology program in Indianapolis, IN. Since returning home, he was able to get married and settle down with a family. Working long hours, to provide and do the best he could for his family. Finding a good career proved fruitless. So with some encouragement from his family, he took the leap to start creating his dream career for himself.

He is one guy, doing everything within his power to make sure our customers are taken care of. Low labor rates, and always finding the best part prices possible. He passes savings on to the customer. 

At Slater's Powersports LLC, we believe that we are only as good as how we treat our customers. As an up-and-coming family-owned small business, we hope to become the go-to repair and service shop in Gratiot and surrounding counties for years to come.
